Lucy McLoughlin (Keri Russell) dances to win in her upper-class Belfast home. Across town, Danny Mitchell (William Ash) practices to make his school soccer team. Surprisingly, the different aspirations of the two bring them together, as Danny takes Latin dancing lessons from Lucy in order to improve his game on the field. Mad about mambo shows the romance that ensues between these two 18-year-olds from vastly different backgrounds, brought together through dance.Also starring Brian Cox as Sidney McLoughlin, Theo Fraser Steele as Oliver Parr, Julian Littman as Rudi Morelli, Maclean Stewart as Mickey, Tim Loane as Brother McBride, Russell Smith as Gary, Daniel Caltagirone as Carlos Rega and Joe Rea as Spike.
