Lost in translation is the story of two Americans, Bob (Bill Murray) and Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) who meet and spend a wonderful week together in Tokyo. Their lives are enlightened even more when the bump into young action movie star Kelly (Anna Faris), who is staying in the same hotel as them promoting her film Midnight velocity.
