The lord of the rings III: The return of the King

Threat advisory: Under evaluation

Movie propaganda

With Saruman (Christopher Lee) out of the way, Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Pippin (Billy Boyd) travel eastward to Minas Tirith in Gondor to carry the news that the Riders of Rohan will soon be there to help the increasingly despaired Lord Denethor (John Noble) and his forces stop the forthcoming Orc Army. Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), Gimli (John Rhys-Davies) and Legolas (Orlando Bloom) hastily travel the Paths of the Dead in order to reach Gondor in time and summon some other worldly help for the battle ahead. All too soon however the white city comes under siege from Sauron's Army and its many walls begin to crumble. Can the armies of Rohan reach them in time to save Minas Tirith? Will Aragorn claim his rightful position as heir to the throne? As the Black Gates of Mordor open, the full force of Sauron emerges and outnumbers them ten-to-one - one things for sure, it will all end in bloodshed.

Meanwhile having left behind Faramir (David Wenham) and his forces, Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) must cross the mountains of Mordor by the only way they can - the dark path leading to Minas Morgul, the castle of the Black Riders. Its in the dark caves above that an even greater threat lies, Shelob - a creature which even the forces of Sauron dare not wander or go near, and one which Gollum (Andy Serkis) has made a bargain with in order to retrieve his "precious". Beyound that lies the endless plains of ash and dust of Mordor, and the steaming volcanic caves of Mount Doom where the fate of the ring is determined at a price too horrifying to comprehend.
