Thunder rolls as a violent storm speeds across the USA midwest. Crack! A bolt of white-hot lightning rockets from the clouds; splitting a tree and launching an orange fireball towards the sky!
500 kilometres away in Rutland, Missouri, 14-year-old Eric is tracking the weather on his computer. Alone in his room, watching storms dance across the screen, Eric discovers a rare weather pattern is about to unfold over his hometown!
From his calculations Eric believes that the force of the storm could destroy everything in Rutland.
When the National Weather Service dismisses Eric's finds, the boy turns to his father who's too busy to deal with his crazy ideas.
A powerful blast strikes the local high school, the power plant is knocked out and the town is in darkness. With fires raging, water rising and the entire town under attack, Eric hatches a daring plan to stop the disastrous storm.
In a race against time and the elements, Eric and his father have one chance to save the town from total destruction.

Theatrical report
Not much to say. Boy cries wolf then one day a wolf comes knocking at the door. If this film had big name stars it might've been called The perfect storm. It doesn't and it isn't. You know what to make of that.
