Theatrical report

Wow.

In the mood for love (Hua yang nian hua) is as tension-filled a romance as you will ever see. It is unrequited love taken as far as it can go, then taken even further. It is a wonder of love and passion and desire and trust and faith and pain wrapped in as glorious a piece of cinematography as you will ever experience. The crush of humanity filling an apartment building to overflowing and the barren streets devoid of life but for lovers and rainstorms. Errant spouses betraying unsuspecting partners, bosses conniving with employees, everyone looking for some way to rise above the seething masses.

If you have any interest in the creation of film you must see In the mood for love (Hua yang nian hua). If you have any interest in the appreciation of film you must see In the mood for love (Hua yang nian hua). Sounds like you don't have a lot of choice in the matter, do you?
