These guys are searching for just one thing... a really rich wife!

A funny new twist on the classic film How to marry a millionaire, this gender-swapped version features three young bachelors hoping to strike it rich by marrying into big money. Tom Nathan (John Stamos), an artist, has been burned by love too many times - his girlfriends keep leaving him for rich guys. In frustration, he and his unemployed friends Jason Hunt (Shemar Moore) and Mark Sickler (Joshua Malina) hatch a scheme to meet and marry ultra-rich women by posing as movie producers.

Trouble is, they're soon broke from keeping up appearances and resort to borrowing heavily from a ruthless loan shark who demands repayment within a month. Now they must go after any wealthy women they can find - and fast - while ignoring their real desires for true love. But their best laid plans cannot prepare them for the fact that sometimes love comes in the most unexpected times and places.

Theatrical report

Just your run-of-the-mill, film-by-numbers, B-grade romantic comedy.

John Stamos, Shemar Moore, Gabrielle Anwar and Dorothy Barton are cute in that plastic Hollywood kind of way. Katherine Helmond, Kenneth Mars, Rhea Perlman and Dabney Coleman are embarrassing in that American humour kind of way. The money must've been good.

Feel free to ignore it.
