Jonathan Glover (Dallas Roberts) and Bobby Morrow (Colin Farrell) have been friends since they were 13 in Cleveland. They're gay. Jonathan moves to New York. Bobby lives with Jonathan's parents. Clare (Robin Wright Penn), Jonathan's house-mate, knowing Jonathan's sexuality wants his baby until Bobby moves in with them. She then becomes pregnant to Bobby, and the three plan to raise the child.
