Revenge hits the road.
Rennie Cray (Jim Caviezel) is the self-appointed avenger of his wife's murder. For five years he's been driving around the country in his 1968 Plymouth Barracuda, pursuing the man responsible for the hit-and-run murder of his wife, looking for retribution. James Fargo (Colm Feore) is a mesmerising and chilling killer whose body has been reduced to a combination of human parts, prosthetics, straps and harnesses. Creative retrofits have transformed his 1972 Cadillac Eldorado into an extension of his own body, a killing machine he uses to torture and taunt unsuspecting motorists on the highways of America. Hounding Rennie at every turn is Macklin (Frankie Faison) a traffic investigator who recognises that as Rennie's search for Fargo narrows, so does his ability to distinguish between right and wrong.
