The terrifying new chapter in the Hellraiser legacy!
A diabolical serial killer is terrorising the city of Denver and corrupt and hard-living cop Joseph Thorne (Craig Sheffer) is hot on the trail. A troubled man already struggling with many personal demons, Joseph's world spirals literally into a living hell when he discovers a mysterious puzzle box at the scene of a bizarre murder.
The box is now in the control of the Tormentor of Souls, the fearsome demon Pinhead (Doug Bradley), and by opening it the shady detective becomes lost in a nightmarish world persecuted by terrifying dreams that materialise when he's awake.
As those around him begin to meet tragic ends, Joseph finds himself in a life-and-death struggle with Pinhead for control of the puzzle box, the key to freedom from his living terror.
Secret Agent Acid Thunder
I am convinced that Hellraiser has become a training series for all budding directors in their senior year at university. And, after the best project has been decided, they make it Hellraiser: This time Pinhead fights Scorpion from "Mortal kombat". They just keep getting worse and worse. The third film in the series was disappointing. I think number four (Bloodlines) should have been swapped with number three (Hell on Earth) but I'm not hypothsising the series: I'm bashing the latest episode.
It really sucks. It's not about the theme anymore. It's all about how much violence can be crammed into 90 minutes of cheap tape. Take it back to the editing room, ya morons!
