Too much is never enough
This music-driven tale follows Allison (Anne Hathaway) and Emily (Bijou Phillips) on their journey from the safety of their affluent suburban homes into East LA, where they learn that even innocent actions can have the most grave and critical consequences. Exposure to the hip hop culture inspires them to imitate the "gangsta" lifestyle, but they run into trouble when they come face-to-face with a real gang of Latino drug dealers.
