Movie propaganda
Johnny's (Jasper Steverlinck) estranged mother (Kyoko Baertsoen) was a famous, yet reclusive, aging rock star who spent her final days isolated in a mysterious old castle.
Upon her death, Johnny, a young up-and-coming musician in his own right, is summoned to his mother's castle in accordance with her final wishes. An odd request, as she hadn't seen her son since he was 3-years-old.
Upon his arrival, Johnny begins to discover that things are not as they appear. The castle begins to come alive as materialising spirits lead him to Mephisto (Harry Shearer), the ghoulish henchman to Mr D (Harry Shearer), the castle's custodian of evil. Mephisto informs Johnny that Mr D has been waiting for him and that all of Johnny's questions will soon be answered...
But when Johnny ventures further, an unexpected visage appears from beyond the grave - his disembodied mother. She warns her son to take heed: an evil presence lurks deep within the castle.
Mr D appears out of the flames of the fireplace and makes Johnny a tantalising offer. The same offer, Johnny learns, that his mother accepted over 20 years earlier: surrender your soul in exchange for unparalleled fame and fortune. Before Johnny can answer, Mr D suggests that he accompany Mephisto on a tour of the more “restricted” areas of the castle in order to help solidify his decision.

Theatrical report
I'm not friendly for this review because I had to pay to go and see Haunted castle - 3d. I am an official film critic and should see films for free but Imax decided not to let me in without exchanging plastic.
Bastards.
The film is a way to play with some digital effects (almost the entire film is digital) and give you some 3d scares and thrills, but the concept of musicians selling their soul to the devil has been done to death. If you'll pardon the pun.
Bedazzled is better.
