Oh. Gran Torino, not Gran Tourismo. Still, it's all about cars, men who like cars and boys who use cars as status symbols. And it's not a drama, it's a Western. What did you expect with Clint Eastwood? (At least it's set in the suburbs, or Small Town America, as it's better known.) So all the excitement comes from a gang of desperadoes who are holding the peaceable townsfolk to hostage with their violent ways until the old warhorse comes out of retirement and teaches them the real meaning of violence. There are young heroes and heroines and preachers and black hats and morally dubious old farts but no horses, hookers or saloons. It's still a Western, but.
The drama movie Gran Torino is directed by Clint Eastwood and stars Clint Eastwood, Bee Vang, Ahney Her.
