Andrea Marr (Dominique Swain) is a bright and beautiful 18-year-old about to graduate from high school and move away from home to go to university. To complete the transformation from girl to woman, she wants to lose her virginity. But when, how... and with who?

To complicate matters, Andrea thinks she's found the man of her dreams - Todd Sparrow, lead singer of the band The colour green. But as she's about to discover, sometimes love can hurt and growing up is definitely hard to do.
