Movie propaganda
Two friends, both named Gerry (Casey Affleck, Matt Damon), pull off the highway to hike on a wilderness trail. Their casual decision to go off the main path has dire consequences as they lose their way in the harsh terrain. At first, their confidence and humour propel them forward, but as they wander through landscapes of austere beauty and hours turn into days, the seriousness of their situation takes hold. As their strength and chances of survival begin to dissipate, the depth of their friendship is put to the ultimate test.
