Theatrical report

A good babysitter.

As a sequel to the classic story that is Pinocchio, Geppetto is a piece of crap. Drew Carey is horrendously miscast and can't act to save himself. His singing is not as good as his acting. I makes the educated guess that Drew was cast on the strength of being in a successful TV show. I note that several other cast members are also in successful TV shows. I also note that the production values are flat, bland, generic and low-budget, as if you're watching Big brother without the flatmates. If you ever wanted to watch a middle-class, family-values, G-rated, white-bread, made-forTV, Sunday-school, greeting-card movie then Geppetto is the one.
