If you look close enough, you'll find everyone has a weak spot.
When meticulous structural engineer, Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkins), is found innocent of the attempted murder of his wife (Embeth Davidtz), the young district attorney, Willy Beachum (Ryan Gosling), who is prosecuting him becomes a crusader for justice. Fracture is packed with twists and turns that weave in and out of the courtroom as the pair try to outwit each other.

Special Agent Matti
Fracture is a good legal thriller because it takes forever to figure out howdunit. You already know whodunit but it's the proving that drives the plot. It took me almost as long as the protagonist so that tells you how legally thrilling this film is. [Special Agent Matti is of superior intellect - Director of Intelligence.]
As for Ryan Gosling, one word describes his performance: cock. As soon as he walks on-screen you can see the flashing neon sign over his head: cock. If there's one thing his character uses in this life it's his: cock. Talk about a wanker. I told you before that Ryan would go far. Just look at Half Nelson. It's great to see an actor who pushes himself, even in a relatively easy role/film such as Fracture.
If you like thrillers, you'll like this film.
The crime, thriller movie Fracture is directed by Gregory Hoblit and stars Anthony Hopkins, Ryan Gosling, David Strathairn.
