An affair between a cabana boy (Joseph Fiennes as Manuel Esquema/Alan Riply) and the young wife (Gretchen Mol as Ella Brice) of a sinister politician (Ray Liotta as Mark Brice) triggers a 16-year vendetta between the two men.
