Female Secret Service agent Alex McGregor (Mariel Hemingway) goes against protocol to save the USA president from an assassination attempt. She is reassigned to protect the president's daughter, Jess Hayes (Monica Keena), which she considers a demotion. When the First Daughter is kidnapped during a hiking trip, Alex and river guide Grant Carlson (Doug Savant) go to rescue her.

Also starring Gregory Harrison as President Jonathan Hayes, Dominic Purcell as Troy, Paul Tassone as Mark, Tempany Deckert as Cassie, Chris Sadrinna as Eric, Daniel Murphy as Milo and Grania Holtsbaum as Emma. Written by Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes, directed by Armand Mastroianni.
