Mischief, mayhem, soap.
Jack (Edward Norton), a man in a dead end corporate job, meets up with a man named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt). Together they start up a secret fight club where people can vent their frustrations on each other. The secret Fight Club becomes an underground cult that spawns many other Fight Clubs. But as the popularity rises the riskier the stakes get. All that and throw in a girl, Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter), and things go bad real quick.

Secret Agent Acid Thunder
What is Fight Club? What is Project Mayhem? The first rule of Fight Club is do not talk about Fight Club. The first rule of Project Mayhem is don't ask questions. Since I am a member I can't tell you about it.
Hee, hee, hee.
What Fight Club is not about is boxing in Caesar's palace. Nor is Mike Tyson a member. It is not about being a good citizen or doing the right thing. It is not about obeying the law. It is not about keeping buildings intact.
Brad and Edward: good guy and bad guy... or is that bad guy and good guy? Which is which? Is the skinny, pasty insomniac getting off on other people's misery a bad guy? Is the handsome, hunky soap maker with a dress sense from Hell a good guy? Is it the action hero who steals fat from liposuction clinics? Is it the guys with multiple personality disorder (hey, there has to be more than one, doesn't there?)
You won't know who to trust or who to believe until you've seen this film all the way through but one thing I will tell you: it's not about fighting.
