Theatrical report

The faster and the furiouser.

Except that it isn't faster and it isn't furiouser. There're more fancy cars and there's more danger but taken as a whole, 2 fast 2 furious is not as good as the first one. Michael Brandt, Derek Haas and Gary Scott Thompson tried very hard with their script but in the end they tried too hard. The script is forced. Still, you don't watch a movie like this one for its contribution to the advancement of the cinematic art, you watch it for the shiny cars, the fast cars and the crashing car, all three of which you get in spades. Oh yes, there are lots of sexy chicks, too.
