Movie propaganda

The story of The Empire Strikes Back is retold. Darth Vader (Stewie) is hunting the rebel Luke Skywalker (Chris) and his troops relentlessly across the galaxy. On the ice planet Hoth, Luke has a vision of his late mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert), telling him to go to the Dagobah system to learn the ways of the Force under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl). Meanwhile Princess Leia (Lois) finds herself taking a shine to the scruffy pilot Han Solo (Peter) and, against all odds, the two soon fall in love. But an encounter with Han's old friend Lando Calrissian (Mort) lands them in the clutches of the Empire. Envisioning this, Luke chooses to forgo his Jedi training to save his friends. It all comes to a head in a climactic confrontation with Darth Vader himself...

Theatrical report

I'm not the biggest Family guy fan... in fact I'm a die-hard supporter of The Simpsons but after watching A New Hope I was pissing myself with laughter. And, for the first 15 minutes of this movie I was doing the same, it was so funny! Until I fell asleep. Twice, which is why I
brought along someone who does love Family guy. They thought it wasn't as funny as the first one too; but did enjoy it all the same and I have to agree. Considerable thought was put into the opening of the film and then, for some reason, it dropped off a quarter of the way into the story. For those who love Family guy, you'll be disappointed (though Meg once again is an ugly creature with no lines - and she complains about it this time) and the light-weighted flavour of the month Jedi who reckon The Empire strikes back is the best (still I say to you lot: Get a fucking job, stop living in your parent's basement and solicit some sex occasionally!) will be happy that their beloved film wasn't ripped to shreds but also disappointed that Family guy didn't deliver on its humour. Sorry guy, but I wasn't impressed this time. Hopefully you'll produce a Big bang theory in Return of the Jedi.

The animation, comedy, science fiction movie Family Guy - Something, Something, Something Dark Side is directed by Dominic Polcino and stars Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Seth MacFarlane.
