When the Griswolds go to Europe - anything goes!

Look out! It's holiday time again for the Griswold family! They're back, bags packed, for another disaster prone tour that's just as side-splittingly zonked out as the first!

Chevy Chase and Beverly d'Angelo return as all-American Clark and Ellen Griswold, who, with teenage offspring Rusty (Jason Lively) and Audrey (Dana Lang), defeat an academically over-privileged family on a TV game show and win a deluxe tour of Europe. Ecstatic Clark, who seems to have overdosed on Father knows best reruns, plans a joyous getaway jammed with forced family togetherness... two weeks sure to become a treasure trove of golden Griswold memories.

The deluxe accommodation is far from it! Clark tries left-handed driving [sic] and leaves Stonehenge unhinged. Audrey, jilted by the boy back home, compensates by eating her way through Europe. rusty goes night-clubbing to cherchez les femmes, and runs right into mum and dad, and Clark's home videos of a playful, towel-clad Ellen fall into the sleazy hands of a porno filmmaker.

For the Griswolds, it's just typical holiday havoc. For you, it's the wildest, weirdest, wackiest vacation of all time!

Also starring Victor Lanoux as the thief and Eric Idle as the bike rider. Written by John Hughes and Robert Klane, directed by Amy Heckerling.
