A suspenseful, darkly comic and ultimately tragic behind-the-scenes story of one of history's greatest business scandals.

Theatrical report

Enron: The smartest guys in the room looks at big business, the evil that lurks within the human breast and the failure of Capitalism. Some might consider that list tautological, not the least of whom would be those partaking in the Islamic jihad against the Great Satan™. For the bosses at Enron there is no ethical sensibility; there is only the rule that you make as much money as you can by doing whatever you can get away with. This parallels the political rule that you gather as much power as you can by doing whatever you can get away with. Are we talking about evil? Yes, we are, and you do get to see George W Bush and his clan of power players. A documentary like this could inspire jihad even without the Islamic religion.

It's hard-core but ever economics, accounting, political studies and philosophy student needs to see.
