Lucas (Rory Cochrane) cleaned out the register last night and went to Atlantic City. Corey (Liv Tyler) has sworn to finally liberate herself from her good-girl virginity... today. Gina's (Renée Zellweger) been there, done that, and will do it again. AJ's (Johnny Whitworth) got to tell Corey he loves her... well, maybe. Mark's (Ethan Randall) band is gonna be huge as soon as they learn how to play something. Debra (Robin Tunney) showed up and shaved her head. Tired teen idol Rex Manning (Maxwell Caulfield) is doing an in-store appearance with his had-it-to-here personal assistant, Jane (Debi Mazar). And there's a 15-year-old slacker calling himself Warren Beatty (Brendan Sexton III) waving a gun and robbing the store. Keeping it all together is the manager, Joe (Anthony Lapaglia), who's got just one day to save his store from a corporate takeover.
With this group, anything can happen - and does - as they pull together to save their store and save each other. As the day wears on, secrets are revealed, friendships tested, futures determined and pasts forgiven, and all the while, music plays.
Also starring Coyote Shivers as Berko, James "Kimo" Wills as Eddie and Ben Bode as Mitchell. Written by Carol Heikkinen, directed by Allan Moyle.
