I must have seen too many nature docos because Earth didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. It's mostly very pretty and there are a couple of funny bits (who doesn't love an elephant) but there's barely any science to the effects of global warming, just some emotive stories of suffering animals. This is not helped by George Fenton's soundtrack (apparently, hunting wolves are bad but hunting dolphins are good - maybe he's just not a dog person).
If this is your first experience of a nature film then you'll like it, otherwise, you've already seen it all on TV.
The documentary, nature movie Earth is directed by Alastair Fothergill, Mark Linfield and stars Patrick Stewart.
