Deuces wild
Threat advisory: Under evaluation
Movie propaganda
Before gangs had guns... they fought with guts.
The summer of 1958 forever changed the Brooklyn landscape. Aside from the sweltering summer heat and the loss of their beloved Dodgers, Brooklyn was in a state of unrest. It was a time when rumbles escalated into gunfights and honour was quickly becoming a thing of the past. A new breed of wiseguys threatened to take control of Brooklyn's rough streets but only one gang wouldn't back down: The Deuces. Deuces wild follows the gang as they learn that loyalty and midnight rumbles can no longer protect them from the turbulent times ahead.
Starring Stephen Dorff as Leon, Fairuza Balk as Annie, Frankie Muniz as Scooch, Max Perlich, Drea Dematteo, James Franco as Tino, Johnny Knoxville, Louis Lombardi as Philly Babes, Brad Renfro as Bobby, Norman Reedus as Marco, Balthazar Getty as Jimmy Pockets, Deborah Harry, Vincent Pastore as Father Aldo, Josh Leonard as Punchy and Alba Albanese as Brenda. - FYI: The term "deuces wild" comes from the card game Poker and means that 2s (deuces, from the french "deux") are wild (can stand for any card in the deck), which gives you the opportunity to have a hand with five aces and not get shot
