When Skye (Kate Hudson), a beautiful young TV star, gets stuck in a tiny desert town who's only claim to fame is having the world's largest ice cream cone, the last thing she wants to do is to get to know the local teens - a restless group that includes the explosive loving Ely (Christina Ricci), her boyfriend Pete (Casey Affleck) and loner Blue Baxter (Brendan Sexton III). When a mysterious chemical spill forces the town under quarantine, Skye has no choice but to stay - and when she starts to fall in love with Blue, she realises she may not be in such a rush to get back to the big city after all.

Also starring Ethan Suplee as Cale, John Heard as the father, Sara Gilbert as Sandy, Isidra Vega as Haley, Renee Rivera as Doctor Gordon, Peter Sarsgaard as Billy and Lee Holmes as Deputy Keeler. Written and directed by Morgan J Freeman.
