With murder, there is justice.
When a hit-man wannabe is hired by Lawrence "LT" Horn (James McDaniel), a former Motown recording executive, he carries out his trade using a book he purchased through mail order, Paladin Press's Hit-man: A technical manual for independent contractors. The hit-man meticulously follows each step outlined in the book to murder Horn's ex-wife, Mildred, their paraplegic son Trevor and the son's nurse, Janice.
After the murderers are brought to justice, the victim's family members file a civil suit against the book's publisher. Rod Smolla (Timothy Hutton), the famed First Amendment attorney, must now risk his reputation by joining the legal team to defend the families in their groundbreaking lawsuit against Paladin Press.
Based on the chilling true story of a triple murder/homicide.
