The Defenders: Choice of evils
Threat advisory: Under evaluation
Movie propaganda
The Defenders are a crack team of lawyers dedicated to one principle - the accused is innocent until proven guilty. In this tense courtroom drama, a legal firm of 3 generations - Lawrence Preston (EG Marshall), his nephew Don (Beau Bridges) and granddaughter MJ (Martha Plimpton) - come together to fight for justice and truth against the odds.
The Defenders take on the case of Jack Casey, an investigative journalist (James McDaniel) with powerful enemies in the police force. Wrongly convicted of murder and with no faith in the scales of justice, he goes on the run - only to be recaptured and then to discover that his one police ally has died, taking the truth and Jack's hopes of salvation to the grave with him...
