A supernatural thriller focusing on what happens when a young family, or more specifically Regina (Anna Paquin), moves to a house in the suburbs in search of a quieter life. The actions of more than 40 years ago are now threatening to destroy her family. Her father, Marco (Iain Glen), and mother, Maria (Lena Olin), are acting peculiar, and the dark forces in the house are using her brother. They need him to complete their plans and reawaken the horrors.
