Fond memories of Cuba

Portrait of a revolution 40 years on - its music, its dreams and reality.
From a filmmaker who has spent many years documenting revolutions and resistance and protest movements in Latin America and elsewhere, Fond memories of Cuba is a mature, reflective portrait of Cuba, some 40 years after Castro took power. Wonderfully exuberant music and vibrant images counterpoint with a narrative often elegaic in tone, reflecting both the erosion of the revolution in Cuban and the filmmaker's own recognition that the socialist dreams of earlier decades have been lost in current reality.
Written and directed by David Bradbury.
