Movie propaganda

Jack (Mick Molloy), an enterprising jokester, is a member of a local bowling club purely for the purpose of renting out his car park space to nearby workers. When dwindling membership and increasing overheads makes the bowling club a prime candidate for a take-over, it's all hands on deck to save the club.

Theatrical report

The trailer: uh-oh, the is the lower end of the D-Generation spectrum; stand by for at least one faecal joke.

The film: whew, they put all the poo-bum-fart jokes in the trailer and left the funny stuff in the movie. Crackerjack is a little Aussie battler of a film based around the tried and true tale of wise guy comes good for the good of all. The baddies are two-dimensional but so are the goodies. The saving grace is that it's a comedy and one of the main characters dies.

It's not as good as The dish but it's still worth a look: there's something in it for everyone.
