Theatrical report

I've seen better. The Circle is a B-grade version of The Skulls. Big deal. Too much of the setting was a rip-off and while the idea was somewhat original I cannot say that I would have paid to see it in the cinema.

The Circle's not quite so worthless that you need to wait until it's a TV movie - it might not even come out then - it's more of a 2 for 1 night at the video shop. One that you hope is going to be good; this one is something to compare the other film to. The story line is to the point. Nothing was left out, and for the budget it the continuity was better than last night's Simpsons episode, where Bart gets his pants stolen in old Springfield, but has them 4 seconds later in new Springfield. Please! No arguments that what happens in cartoons cannot be taken for reality, since the entire basis of the Simpsons is a farce on reality. If you are looking for a quality movie that I enjoyed, this is not it. The cast may look good on the cover, but they get worse on screen.
