A real adventure in the coolest place on earth.
An Arctic tale (Call of the north) presents two narratives - the life cycle of a mother walrus and her calf, and the life of a polar bear and her cubs - which are used to illustrate the harsh realities of existence in the Arctic. Arctic zoologist and cinematographer Adam Ravetch and filmmaker Sarah Robertson have been filming with Super 16 cameras for six years in the frozen Arctic, where temperatures can drop to -40°C.
