Theatrical report
Hey, this movie is pretty cool, if you're into the whole end-of-the-world catastrophe, government clamp-down, survivor genre. The survivors are a quasi-random bunch of urban Yanks who are faced with the sudden and dramatic end of their world. Being suddenly blind is bad enough but being turned into a leper as well just adds insult to injury. There's more than a dash of I am legend (except the zombies are just other people in the same boat) but it's all good fun. If you like nastiness. The best part of Blindness, however, is wondering what you'd do if the world turned dark...
The mystery, thriller movie Blindness is directed by Fernando Meirelles and stars Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Alice Braga.
