Movie propaganda
Kick some ice.
When rival figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) go ballistic in an embarrassing, no-holds-barred fight at the World Championships, they are stripped of their gold medals and banned from the sport for life. Now, three-and-a-half years on, they've found a loophole that will allow them to compete: if they can put aside their differences, they can skate together - in pairs' figure skating.

Theatrical report
Shot down... in a blaze of glory!
That's a great pun.
Meanwhile, I was pleasantly surprised by Blades of glory. I thought it would be one of those Will Ferrell films where he goes over the top in his quest for comedy and it turned out to be one of those Will Ferrell films where he goes over the top in his quest for comedy but that this is not as bad as it sounds. It's actually quite funny in places, although it's more of a giggle-funny than a guffaw-funny. After all, how can you make ice skating seem sillier than it already is?
Jon Heder is in this film, too.
