Miles is a private detective who specialises in disclosing cheating spouses and he befriends his newest client, Iris, who appears broken-hearted. He could be embittered through his line of work, but he is madly in love with his dancer wife, Desi, and knows she feels the same. When Iris decides she wants to be more than a friend to Miles, she manages to fill his head with doubt regarding Desi and her dance partner, Victor. In his anger and depression, Miles turns to Iris and she mow must device a plan to sever his ties to Desi - even if it means death.
