Some legends are better left undisturbed... an underwater nightmare... the most terrifying creature...
Commissioned by The adventure channel, Professor Gus Egan (Dick Stilwell) is sent to Scotland to validate his theory that Loch Ness was once a prehistoric breeding ground for ancient marine reptiles. While diving, Egan meets an untimely death when a fault line ruptures deep below the surface of the loch.
Forced to continue his mentor's research, palaeontologist Case Howell must (Brian Wimmer) team up with his ex-wife, Adventure channel producer Elizabeth Benson (Lysette Anthony) and lead another expedition into the murky depths of the loch. Case is there to find his mentor's body and save professor Egan's reputation. What they find searching the underwater labyrinths is a terrifying ancient creature unknown to palaeontology but should have been extinct for millions of years. When people start to die in the water, no one will believe Case's claim that the monster is real. No-one but ex-constable Donald Blay (Patrick Bergin) who lost his son to the loch years before and blames the monster.
Armed with state-of-the-art technology and high powered explosives, Case and Blay set out to stop the killings and avenge the death of Blay's son and Case's mentor. trapped in an underwater cave, Blay and Case must kill the 18-metre nightmare or be eaten alive.

Theatrical report
I am over movies about the Loch. There's no dinosaur down there and even if there was it certainly wouldn't be eating humans. Also, it would be too cold and all the fish would have been cleaned out ages ago.
Beneath Loch Ness is shite in a can.
