A countdown to disaster.
When a tornado brutally slams into the local nuclear power plant it sets off a chilling countdown for the inhabitants of a small town in West Tennessee, USA. With the plant's cooling system critically damaged it is up to single mother Corrine (Sharon Lawrence) to get the pump working immediately to cool down the reactor - or all will be lost.
Special Agent Matti
Atomic twister was shot in New Zealand but the crew did such a good job disguising it as small town USA that I didn't guess at all. There's not much else to say as it's the kind of film that can only have been made for the straight-to-cable market. Some special effects, some drama, some romance but not a lot of tension. Whatever.
