An American werewolf in Paris
Threat advisory: Low - Low risk of entertaining activities
Movie propaganda
Something is amiss in the seedy Paris nightlife. Something unspeakable is stalking the ancient catacombs in the foundations of the city.
Into this dark arena of lurking menace stroll three wise-cracking, twenty-something, American university kids. Their first night in Paris they stumble upon a beautiful girl attempting to end it all in a jump from the Eiffel Tower. In a split second of insane bravado Andy, attached to a bungie line, rescues her in mid air, but before he can make a note of her vital statistics he is concussed by a passing steel girder. With a discarded suicide note as their only clue, the guys set out to discover who this woman of mystery really is - the woman of Andy's dreams and, on every full moon, the stuff of his worst nightmares...

Theatrical report
This is the sequel you've all been dreading.
I vaguely remember An American werewolf in London as being pretty good, with great effects (for the times). The continental version is kind of like Euro-Disney meets Grease 2.
Things that are missing from the film: a plot, good dialogue, logic, reality, good performances, good special effects. Things that are in abundance: plot holes, humour that's almost up to the level of Porky's V: The revenge, first rate actors walking through their parts because they know they're in a crap movie and second rate actors trying real hard to make this crap movie their big break, and crappy effects.
An American werewolf in Paris is too bad to watch but not bad enough to cultify; just another crap sequel to an ok film made on the off-chance that it will earn some money.
Vote with your feet and watch anything else.
