Secret Agent Acid Thunder
If a group of friends got together and decided to make a film called Boogie nights, this film would portray the process... with a twist. It's funny and stupid: your typical 70s USA comedy.
Unlike the 70s, however, All the way has real nudity (there isn't any T&A, just T). If you're looking for romance, plot or sex, this is not the film for you.
Marque and his film might have been more understandable had they been a Hollywood company. Blander, but understandable. This is not the type of (straight to video) film that I expect from an Australian company.
A guy (goodie) is going to lose his house to a bank (baddie) so his friends decide to make a porn flick (Hollywood cheese fest). They find their stars in the family of the banker (baddie). When daddy (baddie) finds out he sends his henchman (what kind of banks do they have here these days?) to stop them. The chase is on (Hollywood climax) but the guy (goodie) foils the henchman with only seconds to go (Hollywood? Duh!). He also gets the girl and they live happily ever after.
In a word, this flick is garbage. If they were out for porn, add more sex. If they were out for a good movie, take out the sex and the chase and add more plot and romance. The attention paid to lesbian equality and female exploitation is great but it doesn't fit with the rest of the film. What were they thinking? See it only if desperate.
Oh yes, hats off to the transsexual.
