Anthea (Charlotte Gregg) is 25, single and hates her job - and all her friends are moving to London or Sydney or Melbourne. Her best friend Michael (Matt Zeremes) wants her to stay, but is there anything to stay for now that he's got a new girlfriend? Michael and Anthea have to resolve their feelings for each other before she gets on the plane!

Like the bastard child of The secret life of us and Friends, All my friends are leaving Brisbane is a funny romance that makes you glad that you don't live in Brissie. It's not called Bris Vegas for nothing.

The script is well-crafted but it's also a bit light-weight; watching All my friends are leaving Brisbane is like getting a breakfast bowl only to find that the Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes are finished so you have to eat plain ones. Mmm... Corn Flakes. This is not to say that you shouldn't eat... um... watch this film - it's always good to support emerging Australian filmmakers - as long as you remember that this is a light movie.

There are plenty of witty observations about young life in a small city, especially given that none of the men are waxing their chests. Have fun.
