Threat advisory: Under evaluation
Movie propaganda
Africa's elephant kingdom is an inspirational large screen encounter with a herd of African elephants in the plains of Kenya. Shot over a period of six months by an Australian production crew, this is the first large format film from Discovery Channel Pictures.
The film covers the journey of an elephant family through seasons of devastating drought to torrential rain, back to peaceful plains again. It is an intimate portrayal of the life and characters of the herd. There are touching moments of tragedy, humour and drama as this extended family deals with the epic cycle of life that is unique to this part of Africa.
