Marion, the neurotic star of 2 Days in Paris, has broken up with Jack and now lives with a new lover and a child, in the Big Apple -- Julie Delpy strikes back with a sequel to her 2007 worldwide success. 2 Days In Paris was Delpy's directorial debut and heralded a filmmaker with a distinctive voice that owed something to Woody Allen. She returns with 2 DAYS IN NEW YORK, once again as writer and director as well as playing the lead. Picking up a few years down the line back in NYC, Marion's new beau is Mingus, a radio host and journalist played by Chris Rock, whose life will be upended by a two-day visit from Marion's French family. The different cultural backgrounds held by her American boyfriend, her eccentric father and his sister Rose make for an explosive mix.
