What the Director of Intelligence advises

The problem

I have been a fan of James Bond for many years and have all the James Bond movies; 21 in fact. For some unknown reason everyone seems to think that there are only 20 movies and that the latest movie makes 21. What ever happened to Never say never again - is this not deemed to be a James Bond movie?

Sincere regards,
Neil Grant

The IMDb lists these 23 James Bond film titles:

However, only the 20 films made by EON Productions are considered official. Never say never again starring Sean Connery (the official James Bond at that time) was made by other companies; the same goes for Casino Royale starring David Niven, making the contemporary Casino Royale the 21st of the official franchise.
