The Avengers is a smash hit

The Marvel film, The Avengers posted a six million dollar taking for its first day of screening and almost seventeen million dollars in its first week. For a film releasing in Australia, that means a lot of people have seen the film already and some will have seen it more than once. Reviews of The Lorax and Pirates! Band of Misfits

We have recently reviewed the Pirates! Band of Misfits and The Lorax. Two family oriented animated movies that have come to cinemas for the school holidays, in our opinion The Lorax is the better film of the two but quite slow at times and The Pirates! Over The Fence Film Festival

The 2012 Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival will be on in August this year. The West Australian produced film festival tours the World and is now asking for final entries into this years competition. There are two film categories; films up to 16 minutes and films longer than 16 minutes. Shorts of any genre and style are accepted but of course, being a comedy film festival the film also needs to be funny. For more information you can visit their website .
Despicable Me 2 Teaser trailer

It wasn't that long ago that Despicable Me released into cinemas and became a massive success. For those who don't already know, Despicable Me is a hilarious film about the everyday struggles of a super villain. The sequel Despicable Me 2 was actually announced before the first film was released in Australia and now we've got some information about it. Despicable Me 2 is scheduled for release on the 29th of June 2013 (Just over a year away) and there's already a teaser trailer out, it's funny and yes, there are singing minions in it.
